朝霞台進学教室
一番小さい教室に入って、セロテープを片手に格闘している生徒。出てきて一言「蚊、生け捕りにした。」
みんなでルーペで観察しました。
虫が嫌いな人は以下開かないでください。
手足の形、動かし方、良く見えました。なんでもこうやって観察しようとする目はとても大切です。いずれ、教室に顕微鏡を置こうと思います。

パンチョさん、見てますか
もうすぐプロ野球で各チームが新人選手を指名するドラフト会議が行われる。
昔そのドラフト会議でパンチョ伊東さんこと伊東一雄さんという方がアナウンスをされていた。
独特なバリトンの効いた声で選手名を読み上げる。
「第一回選択希望選手 阪神 野茂 英雄 投手 新日鉄堺」という具合に。一度聞くと忘れられない声だ。
学生時代、私はこの方の本に没頭した。
